Komatsu

KOMATSU Longview is a mining equipment manufacturing facility. The facility’s main use is to manufacture buckets and other tools for large mining tractors. Komatsu needed some laydown area for its equipment. Rollcon provided approximately 240,000 square feet of 10” roller compacted concrete. The total square feet included 10” and 8” RCC laydown area as well as a 6” RCC employee parking lot. RCC was picked over conventional concrete due to its superior strength in supporting heavy loads.
